We need to make sure our students develop the skills needed for their future and become responsible citizens of technology. In today’s increasing global economy and advance technology, we do not want to leave any students behind in the digital divide.

In its eighth year, the LANA Annual Conference will take place July 28–29, 2017 in Elgin, IL. Recognizing the growing needs across various pillars of life and community among Laotian Americans throughout the US, this year’s program will largely focus on increased engagement and support for youth development, education, and elder care.

Bida Manda is named in honor of the owners’ parents, who instilled in them the love of food and its power to bring people together.

We want to empower people to reduce the health disparities in our community, by promoting a healthier lifestyle through education and engagement in the Lao language.

In 2010, Sith Noy Phousirith, Ace Thiphavanthong, and Kop Perry Sinasone went on a search around the U.S. looking for other Lao golfers and Lao golf communities. On this search, they found similar trends among golf clubs in different states.

Nang Nonnarth Dunn, avid runner and VillageRun founder, invites you to the VillageRun 3rd Annual 5K Charity Run+Walk on May 11th, 2013, at Lake Merritt, Oakland, CA. Walkers, joggers and runners are welcome to bring friends and family to this fun community event.

I really want to get Lao American communities to help by using their special knowledge and skills to work within the rural communities, because they have a lot to offer. I truly enjoy what I am doing.
